Die Start & Pulse Challenge für Startups geht am 12. Januar 2023 bereits zum vierten Mal an den Start. Gesucht werden herausragende Lösungen und Geschäftsmodelle für die Bank, die das Thema Nachhaltigkeit in den Vordergrund stellen. Das diesjährige Motto „Green Transformation“ greift ein besonders wichtiges Thema der Creditplus Bank AG auf.

Stephan Baumann, Leiter des Strategischen Produkt- und Innovationsmanagements, sowie Jana Rau, Innovationsmanagerin der Creditplus Bank, erklären hierzu: „Als Spezialist für Konsumentenkredite wollen wir einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur grünen Transformation der deutschen Wirtschaft leisten. Deshalb sind wir auf der Suche nach Startups, die uns bei der Entwicklung zu einer nachhaltigen Bank mit neuen Ansätzen unterstützen, die wir noch nicht in Betracht gezogen haben.“

Die enge Zusammenarbeit der Creditplus mit Startups ist entscheidend für die Gestaltung von nachhaltigen Prozessen und Lösungen. Für die Start & Pulse Challenge können sich Startups aus der gesamten EU bis zum 24. Februar 2023 in vier Kategorien bewerben: „Green Banking“, „Green Measuring“, „Green Facilitating“ und „Green Initiative“, um auch disruptive Ansätze berücksichtigen zu können. Die Top 3 erhalten eine Gewinnprämie von 2.000 bis 5.000 Euro. Im Rahmen eines finanzierten Minimum Viable Product-Projekts (MVP-Projekt) wird das erstplatzierte Team darüber hinaus gemeinsam mit der Creditplus einen ersten Prototyp im Wert von 25.000 Euro umsetzen. Das Gewinnerteam profitiert vom starken Netzwerk der Bank: Die Creditplus ist ein etablierter Partner in Deutschland. Zudem besteht durch die Zugehörigkeit zur Crédit Agricole-Gruppe das Potential einer internationalen Skalierung des Projekts.

Durchgeführt wird die Start & Pulse Startup Challenge 2023 gemeinsam mit dem Innovationsförderer GERMANTECH. Am 3. Mai 2023 stellen die besten zehn Teams ihre innovativen Lösungen beim Start & Pulse Pitch Day in Stuttgart vor. Die Top 3 werden von einer renommierten Fachjury ausgewählt.

The Start & Pulse Challenge for Startups will be held for the fourth time from 12 January 2023. The search will be on for outstanding solutions and business models for the bank that place special emphasis on the subject of sustainability. This year’s slogan, “Green Transformation”, takes up an issue that is especially important for Creditplus Bank AG.

Stephan Baumann, Head of Strategic Product and Innovation Management, and Jana Rau, Innovation Manager of Creditplus Bank, explain: “As a specialist in consumer loans, we want to render a substantial contribution to the green transformation of the German economy. This is why we are looking for startups that can help us develop into a sustainable bank, with new approaches that we have not yet considered.”

The close cooperation of Creditplus with startups is decisive for the shaping of sustainable processes and solutions. For the Start & Pulse Challenge, startups from the entire EU can apply up to 24th ebruary 2023 in four categories: “Green Banking”, “Green Measuring”, “Green Facilitating” and “Green Initiative”, so that disruptive approaches can also be considered. The top 3 will receive a winner’s bonus of 2,000 to 5,000 euros. On top of that, as part of a financed Minimum Viable Product-project (MVP project), the top-placed entrant will realise a first prototype in the value of 25,000 euros together with Creditplus. The winner will not only benefit from having Creditplus as an established partner in Germany: thanks to the international network of the Crédit Agricole Group there exists the potential for scaling of the project beyond Germany.

The Start & Pulse Startup Challenge 2023 is being held together with the innovation promoter GERMANTECH. On 3 May 2023, the best ten teams will present their innovative solutions at the Start & Pulse Pitch Day in Stuttgart. The top 3 will be selected by a jury of renowned experts.
